Item is just as described. The measurement is the outside diameter of the rubber stopper, and they expand considerably. Approx 1/4″ overall on this one.

Fit perfectly on our JLG SkyTrak powered by a Cummins QSB 4.5T engine. Old oil cap was worn out and wouldn’t seal properly, and kept falling off – bad news in a dusty environment! This one dropped right in and sealed up great. We’ll easily get another 10 years out of it, every bit as good as the factory part.
