For some reason, my old retractable straps seized up
I’ve had them for 15 years, so I guess I didn’t do too bad
My new ones are very slippery. Easy to use.

I’ll never go back to conventional straps. These extend and retract so easily it’s unreal, and ratchet them down as tight as you like. When releasing you simply push a button, no more wrestling with the clamps, no potential for pinched fingers.
So far super durable, easy to use, lightweight, money well spent.

As an avid cyclist, I have a rack on my car and use these straps to tie it down. I used to have those standard cheaper ones, which still work, but would often get tangled and simply messy to use. This, while a bit pricey, makes tightening and loosening a breeze. Not looking back. Very well made.
