This is well made and should function well for years.

Just bought a new truck and it has the new 7 blade connector. My boat and trailer have 4 pin connectors. This adapter is the solution. It’s cool too, there are red LED’s that come on as the signal is sent to the plug.
The adapter is sturdy, fits perfectly into the socket. I like the cover for the pins however, I don’t leave it plugged in when not using it.

  3. BeachLover

Integrated tell tale lights are nice to verify that circuits are active.

Muy buen producto de calidad lo recomiendo

Al ser productos que están expuestos a intemperie recomiendo después de cada uso, limpiarlos y sopletearlos con aire para que se conserven las láinas de conexión.

I appreciate the LED indicators on the adapter which let me know that the appropriate signals are reaching that far. anything not working beyond that point is due to trailer harness or lighting devices.

Boyfriend was happy I bought him this for a present. It helped his truck.

Great value for the money and fits nicely snug. Very stable and I don’t think it will ever fall out. I absolutely love that it has built in test lights so that I know when my truck. I have towed probably 4 times in the rain so far, 2 of them being category 3 hurricane level rainstorms and it held up great. I just shake, blow out the connections, and let it dry before installing the rubber cover and storing it.

This is my absolute go to for my 2001 silverado 2500hd. Fits uhual trailer wiring perfectly every time I have used it.

  9. Jazzy G

Pros: inexpensive, built well, rugged, built in tester

    Cons: None

I installed a T-Connecter Kit (also bought from Amazon, CURT 56097) and needed this converter to pull our older model pop up camper. When I installed the T-Connector Kit, I did not have the trailer around to test the signals. Luckily, this adapter has a built in tester which helped confirm that all connections were functioning properly! Nicely built (rugged with a semi rigid rubber casing) and works flawlessly. Drove through the pouring rain and functioned perfectly. I would suggest using some dielectric grease to help weather the connector, but not necessary.

Overall, this 7-way to 4-way adapter works perfectly. You will not be disappointed!

    Works as promised

I bought this to go on a newer pickup. I’ve become spoiled to trucks with integrated adapters, so I was surprised to see that I would need to buy one of these to go on my new truck. This one was a good price. It was plug-and-play, as one would expect, comes with a weatherproof cover, seems reasonably sturdy, and even has built in test lights. It worked with my trailer pigtail flawlessly.

  12. Nash Malic

Good product and it works what is the most important part

  13. Philip

Works well. Love the built in indicator lights.
