Awesome truck bed cover! Very easy to install once you get it positioned properly.

I had a soft cover in place but I didn’t like the way it fluttered going down the highway. I decided to go with a hard cover and this is what I chose. Fit my 2020 Tundra perfectly and installation was straightforward. Very pleased.

Pros: -about half the cost of the more expensive
brands
-seems well made. Would have preferred a
more matte finish but im ok with it
-comes with all hardware including utility
rack adapters and weather strip. Spare parts
included.
-easy to install and uninstall if you need the
full bed. There are videos on youtube
if the included directions are lacking.
Cons: -it leaks at the corners. Much more than i
thought it would. 90% of the bed is dry.
-the latch system takes more work than it
should to open and close. Both sides must
be unhooked. Then again for the second
fold. The hooks must be reattached when
unfolding. Has a strap to hold it in the
folded position. Does not fold all the way
up to back cabin window.
It leaks, its annoying to fold and unfold in consideration of other name brands, and its not flush but that isnt really a con if you want to utilize the utility rack as is and/or more clearance. It does not feel or look cheap at all, although i do have some reservations about the inside hooks. For the price, its good. Maybe even great.

** I will be updating this review **
First Review 6/9/21 3-star
I received this tonneau cover today, it’s pretty heavy and seems to be well made. So far the quality looks good and I can tell that I will likely like it.
So why the downgrade in stars? Well it does not come with a compatible Toyota bed rail bracket. Unless I missed it in the product description, it does not mention at all that this will not attach to the bed rail system from the factory without buying additional hardware. To my knowledge all Toyota Crewmax trucks come from the factory with the bed rail system at least the last two that I’ve owned came with them and my truck is just the sr5 not even the higher end model. Anyway with that said I will find out if this will indeed work once my 100$ of new hardware shows up, if not I will likely return for a product proven to fit my vehicle.
Review #2 6/10/21 5-star
Okay so the seller shipped me the needed brackets to attach to the factory bed rail system. Not sure if I was supposed to ask for these when placing the order or not, but the seller did correct the issue very quickly, I received the brackets the following day. So now that the tonneau cover is installed I can properly rate this product. Install is very easy even with the bed rail system once you have the brackets, took me about 30mins to install (I am a Honda Master Technician so it may take longer for those not mechanically versed). If you have the bed rail system one thing to note is the D-Cleats will have to be positioned in the place you want them before installing the bed rail brackets as you wont be able to freely slide them with tonneau brackets installed (no getting around that just one thing to think of when installing) The included light and tailgate weather stripping is a nice touch. I was able to stand on the panels with no problem (200lb male). I live in Las Vegas so I will update again after the summer is over to see how well it holds up to 110F+ temperatures. Overall I am very pleased with this tonneau cover now that it is installed. I also really appreciate the foam spacers they included on the cover so you can fold it up without scratching the surfaces.

I really wanted this to work but there are just too many issues.
A) it arrived “broken.” Panels had shifted during shipping because QC missed the fact that 3 screws weren’t driven in all the way, and 1 was missing altogether. Luckily I found it in the bottom of the box. With some muscle we got it lined up and screwed tight.
Also found that the locking mechanism weren’t installed in a consistent manner. I had to refer to the illustration to determine which way they were supposed to go and adjust them accordingly. Again, this is just a function of bad QC.
B) It’s poorly designed and so it doesnt fit my Tundra with the rail system. The issues is the placement of the locking mechanism. Panels A and B (nearest to cab) had the locks in the center. Panel C (nearest to gate) has them offset and much closer to the end of the panel. The result (see pic) is that the locks completely miss the included brackets. The last Locks have to hold onto the bed liner, which is incredibly difficult given the short distance between the rail and tail light housing. Perhaps in a truck without a liner this would work better, but the result is poor “grab,” and thus poor seal at the gate end.
C) The whole thing is about 2″ too short to instill confidence in waterproofing. With the absolute minimum overlap at the cab end, the liner only overlaps the inside of the gate by an inch or so. Given the poor seal resulting from the bracket issue (see B above) it is unlikely that that this unit can keep the water from entering between the gasket and the top of the gate door.
D) 3 days after installation. First warm day (80F outside) and there’s a horrible chemical smell coming from the back of my truck bed. The unit is off-gassing horribly and the two rubber bumpers to protect the unit when unfolding have fallen off.

Based on my experience with this product previously, I just purchased it again for my latest pickup truck. It is solidly constructed, well-built and well thought out. I looks good on my truck and protects the pickup bed. One caveat – I also had the tie-down system installed in the truck bed as an option when I bought it – but – the holding arms for this Tonneau cover can’t work around the tie-down brackets so I had to remove them in order to secure the cover.
