This looks great and was a perfect fit on my 23 Tacoma. Very easy to install with easy to understand instructions. Exactly what was advertised!

Quality product – good fit and finish. Decently priced compared to similar products. A recognized brand name. worked perfect for my 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5. Directions were a little confusing but able to sort it out.

The quality and fit are great. We have a Tacoma 4×4 TRD short bed 2023 and the fit is perfect. We are not very handy so it did take us quite a bit longer than expected to install but well worth the time. It has been on the truck for a few months and wearing like new without problems. Happy we bought the cover and would recommend it.

The LEER ROLLITUP truck bed cover fits great, looks great and is inexpensive compared to some other brands. A good purchase. However, the installation instructions provided are not good. Luckily, installation is simple and relatively easy to figure out. I recommend this cover.

To the people who think this is hard to install either don’t have a clue as to what they are doing or lack the brain power to install something. This is one of the easier installs I’ve ever done. I did it alone in 30 minutes. It does help I grew up around mechanics. Do not tighten anything down until it’s all in place and the fitment is good. When you install the front braces and cover it’s self make sure you drape the cover over the cab of your truck and make all of the hardware and pieces easy to access. Instructions are perfectly clear unlike some others have mentioned. I live in Alaska it seems like it’ll hold up just fine. 5/5 would recommend.

It was easy to install and the installation instructions were clear. I would highly recommend it.

Under 6 months and it is starting to fall apart. Attempted to contact Leer twice and no response, big red flag, they don’t sell this on their website so I’m not sure if this is even officially Leer supported or Leer felt the need to throw something cheap up to compete in the $200 space.

Around month 5 I started to notice the left rear locking mechanism would easily slide out as the day went on and it got hot out. It looks like it doesn’t handle heat expansion at all so maybe in a colder climate or garage you can get a year out of it but it no longer locks in place on the left and even trying to adjust the rails did nothing for it. Now the right side is also no longer reliably locking in so the only thing holding it down is the Velcro.

For the good points, the install was relatively easy but I found a good YouTube video the install guide was meh, the lock when it worked seemed secure enough, and it was mainly water resistant but heavy enough rain and water got in.

Still only getting 6 months out of it and the company refusing to respond despite multiple attempts and they only have an email address to send inquires to doesn’t inspire confidence in the Leer brand. While this was entry level I was likely to upgrade eventually anyway since I wanted something a little more heavy duty, i just wasn’t anticipating to be doing it in under a 6 months and it certainly won’t be Leer ever

Update: While I never got a response from Leer website, I did get a response by contacting the seller through Amazon. I’ll raise it from 2 stars to 3 stars for the fact I got a response and they did send me the replacement corner brackets. I’ll update with photos on this fun experiment.

Update 3: After going through some options with Leer through Amazon and sending some additional photos and videos, it was determined that the cover was defective. Leer stood behind their product and provided me a full refund with no strings attached. I’ll be purchasing from them again for the replacement cover but I would still recommend to going to the next step up in the Tonneau covers they offer since I still don’t think i’d trust this offering but I am pleased with the outcome.

I like that this mounts to the rail system and if you need access to the whole bed, you have it. On my ’23 Tacoma, the back keeps flipping up and looks kind of like a spoiler. I’ve tried adjusting it, but after a few bumps, it pops back up. The velcro sides keeps it secure, it kind of flutters a little in the wind at high speeds but doesn’t go any where. Not sure how to keep it from flipping up.
