I’ve used Liqui Moly stop leak products and other oil additives, but I had never used their oil until recently. I changed the oil in my 2006 BMW 330xi and my wife’s 2012 Mercedes-Benz GLK-350, converting both to Liqui Moly 2332 Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 engine oil, and I’ll never go back to lesser quality motor oils. Liqui Moly oil added 2.9 miles per gallon(MPG) to my car’s fuel economy; I went from 22.3 to 25.2 MPG in the BMW. Both automobiles use premium gasoline, so any increase in MPG is very welcomed. I don’t know if the MPG increased on the Mercedes, because that vehicle is my wife’s daily driver, and she doesn’t keep track of what she calls “trivial things”. Liqui Moly is a German company, and both of my vehicles are German-made, but I don’t think Liqui Moly is just for German vehicles. I also plan to use Liqui Moly 20228 Molygen New Generation 5W30 motor oil in my Ford Fusion at the next oil change. One last benefit that I almost forgot to mention, Liqui Moly oil reduced the BMW’s engine idle. Before Liqui Moly, just after startup, the engine idle was around 750 RPM, now it idles at about 650 RPM, and the engine runs quieter now. This stuff is outstanding!

First time using LiquiMoly, pretty happy with the whole oil change process, especially because of the nice spout design for pouring that is part of the jug. Don’t have any complaints.

A must have if you’ve got an Audi/VW.
Will burn 10x slower than regular syn oil
Best for turbo

I use this in an older TDI and it works great. If your diesel has a dpf it will not work for you. It quieted down the noises and ticks my engine had from previous owners using mediocre oil and too long between oil changes. It is formulated to reduce metal on metal wear and I believe it protects against that well.
Only a few hundred miles after switching to this oil my engine runs smoother and more efficiently. Mpg went up by more than 5%. I emailed liquimoly and asked about which oil they recommended for my car and this is what they said would work best. Paired with a good filter I don’t have any issues with running this oil for long intervals. I will have this oil sent off and tested on my next oil change and I’ll update on here with the results.

By far the best engine oil for European cars.

Oils have changed significantly since the 1990s. This is one of two oils recommended on the Liqui Moly website for the classic Bimmer M42 engine. I am very pleased with it. This is the same brand I use in the other BMW cars that I maintain.

This was our first purchase with this oil .We did our 1st oil change on my 2015 BMW X1. Have to say the negine runs even smoother now. This will be our oil for the next oil changes coming. Price is also not much different from any other premium oil. This oil is recommended for BMW

I’ve been using this oil for a while now since switching from Mobil 1 and I can’t say enough good things about it. Mobil 1 is a great oil and frankly more readily available than this stuff and oh cheaper to-boot. But for my “baby” nothing is too good. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how well Liqui Moly holds up after 6k miles. Still golden color and minimal burn off / oil loss. Maybe it’s psychological but it feels like my engine runs happier, smoother and quieter with this product. During my most recent oil change I also used Liqui Moly ProLine Engine Flush before draining the old oil and it was amazing to see the amount of sludge / deposits that were in the system even though I religiously change my oil every 5-6k miles though product is rated for 10k+ change intervals. I also added Liqui Moly Createc friction reducer to the new oil. Jury is still out as to the effect it will have but if my experience with the other products is any indicator I should be pleased with the results.
Now, I did my research before using these products and everyone out there has an opinion on everything from “don’t believe the hype” to aspiring chemists who give you their take on the class / chemical make up of the base and product. You’ll go nuts reading and making sense of it all so my recommendation is go with your gut and choose the product that YOU feel works best…especially for your wallet. You can’t go wrong with Liqui Moly, Mobil 1 or any of the other FULL SYNTHETIC oils. I did read however that in the US, oil manufacturers can call their product full synthetic is it has synthetic components whereas the products that originate from Europe / Germany must be 100% synthetic in order to carry the label. Makes me even happier to be using Liqui Moly manufactured in Germany. There are Liqui Moly products made in the USA so make sure the bottle says Made in Germany to be sure you are getting a Full Synthetic product.
Please note: If you car is under manufacturer warranty though technically it cannot void the warranty even if dealer says otherwise, as a matter of personal preference I would only use the oil and not the additives like the flush or friction reducer. No sense getting into a war of words with the dealer/manufacturer. Since my car is a 2002 the only person I have to negotiate with is myself.

Extremely high end oil for gas and diesel engines. My diesel engine runs extremely clean using this oil. Performs exceptionally well in high heat climates (driving slowly in 4×4 lo mode crawling up old steep forest service roads in summer heat).
Top tier product, great seller too!
