    I put this kit on my 2015 RAM 1500 Longhorn. Everything went together as expected. There was about 1/3 the amount of grease that you should actually apply in the little packet. So I’ll have to get more and put it on later.

    I don’t know if there is a specific break-in for these, but I did what I usually do, and they are nice and strong, no fade. When my front pads wear out, I’ll definitely do the fronts with z36’s.

    I ordered this set of read Power Stop rotors and pads for the rear of my 2014 Ram 1500 pickup. I put a set of them on the front about 2 years ago, and I am very impressed. After 2 years, may thousands of kilometers the rotors are still shiny and new looking up front (coating holds up VERY well), and their pads generate nearly zero dust! This is one of the biggest selling features for me. Well that and the power and confidence with these.

    PROS:

    – Rotors stand up to the elements and the slotted and drilled rotors perform as well as they look
    – Pads are powerful and generate a ton of stopping power. GREAT for towing and hauling, they do not fade like OEM brakes
    – Stainless retainers are very nice and identical to the OEM stuff (maybe a bit thicker too)
    – No squeeling, no noise, great out of the box
    – No dust on your wheels! This is huge, and compared to many OEN style organic pads, these are dust free. Complex wheels, get these now!!

    CONS:

    – Price maybe? Though value for money these are well worth the slightly higher price
    – Grease. The tiny high temp grease packet with the pads is just a tad too small, more of an annoyance than a CON

    My only wish is that I ordered them all as a set. Front and rear rotors, pads and calipers. The OEM Calipers I picked up rusted and look terrible beside the minty fresh silver rotors. Oh and be sure to closely follow the break in procedures on the instructions. This can make or break your experience.

    This is my second set of the Z36 brake pads and rotors. My first set lasted a little over 4 years and about 60k miles. These brakes give incredible stopping power. Towing my 28 ft travel trailer is no problem even on steep mountain grades. As a bonus they never make noise.

    2015 Ram 1500 Crew 4×4 towing 9k. These brakes rock! 1,000 miles on them and zero issues whatsoever. They are quiet, clean (not rusty), no dust.
    Because these are zinc plated and did not appear to have preservative on the rotors, I did not clean them with any kind of soap or solvent. This is no problem for the fronts but rears need to be cleaned with soapy water prior to installation. This is specifically for the parking brake shoe contact surface (integrated drum). My parking brake would not hold for about a week after install, so I ended up having to drag the shoes to rough up the wear surface and then after a good rainstorm and star adjustment, it held up to 1500 rpm during inspection. Problem solved!

    **UPDATE** 7/30/22
    I now have approximately 20k miles of mixed highway and city driving on my RAM. I have also towed a 10,000lb. Loaded travel trailer since installing the brakes. I have a brake controller and used to use it more frequently with the stock rotors and pads. Now I use the controller just for bumping the trailer brakes when I sense some sway. I can definitely tell these pads and rotors are doing a better job.

    The zinc coating still looks good with no signs of visible rust. The brake pads still bite really well and there is absolutely no brake fade- it’s incredible. No noticeable brake dust either (I think my wheels stay cleaner actually). I will be buying a set for my wife’s Chevy Traverse soon.

    I wait to give reviews on items that are this important. When it came time to change the brakes i decided to give these a try. Compared to the OEM brakes there is a NOTICABLE difference! Decreased stopping distance, quiet, and so far great durability. From installation I instantly noticed the decrease in stopping distance. Over time this has not changed much as the brakes have worn in. I think the one thing that still bothers me is not getting rear ended due to the decreased stopping distance (grampa drive it). Great upgrade/replacement!!!!!

    So Far everything seems excellent… Although when i ordered i was told my rear rotors were back ordered.. They would contact me when they got some.. After a week i saw them come up as available from the same place, but 100$ more expensive. So kindof a scam going on there .. Over all though them seem solid .. No issues after 2weeks

    I purchased the same type of rotors and pads a few months ago for the front and they have performed as expected. Fit was perfect. Brake pads do not create a lot of dust residue on wheels which I am really happy about. Overall, very satisfied with these products.

    Easy to install and work great. Can definitely see the difference between these and the cheap quality off brand rotors being made with recycled metal. These are better than OEM. Work great in daily driving and when towing. Highly recommended!

    I have run PowerStop kits on several vehicles, all of which performed well and installed straight forward, so my expectations where high. This kit was the same, fit perfectly, stops great, no squeaks, shuddering, or other issues. Take your time, and bed the pads in per instructions (vital!) and you’ll be good to go.

    Major upgrade over stock. Stock brakes needed to be replaced, huge difference. Stops noticeably quicker, works well with towing (small trailer w/motorcycle). Make sure you follow the break in instructions. Will be buying the front set when the fronts go.

    I have had the front pads and rotors on my 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 4×4 for over a year. I was impressed by their initial quality and stopping power. Especially when pulling my 23ft travel trailer. They do not pull or fade and have worked really well. Since it was time for the rear brakes to be changed, I went with the same kit but for the rear. These were straight forward and easy to install. I would suggest buying high temp brake grease from your local auto parts store (especially if you have more than one car to maintain) as the packet of grease provided is just not enough for both sides.

    I like these brakes and they are a great upgrade from stock in my opinion. I could really care less about the cross drilled/slotted rotors, but it does add a nice look to your vehicle when installed.
