over 40 years in the automotive industry has led me to use naphtha based oils in my automobile engines as opposed to wax and asphalt based oils. While some naphtha oils are burned as vapors. they do not create sludge deposits.

This oil is a perfect match for my 2013 Toyota Prius. a complete filter and oil change uses just about the whole jug.

I’ve been using Valvoline since the 90s. I have a 1971 pick up truck that now uses 10W-30 Valvoline racing oil with high zinc.
My other car is a plug-in hybrid. I sound I use the electric motor far more than I do the hybrid which means my engine goes 30 days or more without being run. The hybrid oil stated it was designed for the specific purpose. Previously I had been using a Castrol 0w-20 product but decided to go back to Valvoline simply for the hybrid design.
If it does what it says then I am happy that I used a product that is designed specifically for my hybrid. The price was about the same as every other 5 quart bottle.

Driving a Prius Hybrid means oil changes can be far apart. It’s been awhile when going around a corner, or during a hard braking, you start getting a brief flash on the dash that says your oil is low. Like most vehicles, the engine does slowly burn off some internal motor oil, so a top off is a good idea until the next full oil change. It will also keep that warning from flashing on.
Valvoline oils come highly recommended and I haven’t used anything else since my younger years of working in the automotive world. The actual front label on the bottle has more info, so I took a picture. Valvoline is a dependable, quality full synthetic hybrid motor oil, and the pricing here is quite reasonable. Excellent buy.
