I’ve installed 3 other Tonneau’s in the past and this one by far gave me the most grief. The instructions are vague and not very helpful. For instance the seem generic and not dedicated to the Titan I purchased it for. They will say place on rear of side rail. Ok which side is the rear? Nothing is marked, not even left or right. A simple sticker would help. The rails don’t sit flush making the entire tonneau take on water like it’s not even there. I have the utili-trac system and they do have adapters to use with it but they just seem like an after thought. For instance the instructions make a big deal of securing the top cover with the safety strap to the holes on the clamps. The problem is that if you have the utili-trac system the adapter clamps they give you don’t have the hole so no here to attach them to. I’m sure the side rails are used on many different trucks so perhaps spending more money and getting someone specifically made for the Titan would be better.

Bought this for my 2020 Titan PR because I couldn’t see spending close to $1500 on an MX4 based off the reviews I had read on it. There were only a couple reviews on the X Xcover so I really just took a chance. It arrived well packaged in cardboard and what do you know it wasn’t all beat up from shipping. It took me about an hour to install it and if your Titan has the cleat system it will work fine they give you the brackets for with or without cleat track. So at this point I give it 5 stars for looks, ease of install, and fitment. On the Titan I didn’t use any of the weather stripping that came with it because our bed caps are flat enough. I also can not speak to how water proof it is, I haven’t drove in a down poor as of yet, but it looks like it’s pretty tight.

Instructions were vague but once I watched the install video my buddy and I had this installed in under an hour. It appears to have a really good seal on it. Won’t know until I drive it in the rain or get to the car wash. Well worth the savings. $500 plus tax here versus $1200 at the local truck accessory dealer. This was actually on a 6 1/2 foot bed.

Fits Nissan Titan 2023. Looks good and feels good. 4 stars because no instructions came in the box and a video is not feasible to watch during installation and directional markers for rails would have been helpful. The drain system is garbage and useless and the available video online needs to be updated. Took one hour to install (me, pops a case of beer with wife watching video and directing). Will review again after carwash or rain.
Carwash was fine. Minimal water near tailgate.
